Went to Fruit and Veg village or market or some other name this week. Look at what I bought:

All this for less than $13 US. Can you imagine? I got 24 oranges, a loaf of bread, spinach, strawberries (free bananas with each set of strawberries), spinach, cauliflower, onions, green peppers, apples, and lunch! Wowsers, beat that shopping in the U.S. (even in Arkansas)!

Here was my lunch, by the way, a nice and tidy British/S. African meal of Peppersteak Pie:

so jealous just went to winn-dixie yesterday and spent $13 on like 5 peaches. decided to take them back afterwards b/c they were hard enough to kill someone if used as bullets.

That picture and list is making my mouth water! Where does the fruit come from – is it from S.A., or even Africa? Just curious….
